I was initially concerned about the bonfire being so hot that it will melt the cables coating but i took an ir temp gun to the bottom of the bonfire at the intake vents and found that with a fullon blaze going it only got to 90f or so

Im using the lock for when i need to leave my bike in the bed of the truck for short amounts of time running into gas stations markets ect i would not trust it if you had to lock something overnight
