Only just got these locks today but i have to say they look and feel much better than the cheaper ones i have been using which usually rust up and seize after 12 winters the action seems more smooth and they have armor plating in the shackle gap the bit where you put the chain in for the shackle to go through which i have never seen before on any of the cheaper type locks also the chrome plating seems of a moch higher quality both on the lock body and shackle pin than the cheaper locks i have been using in the past so should hold up to the elements much better but only time will tell if that one is true or not but so far if looks and quality of manufacture are anything to go by i give this lock 5 stars out of 5 for the price  Read Less
