Not overly happy with this i watched some youtube videos of pro casters and adjusted the brake so that it is basically off adjust brake so that there is a slight bit or rightleft play in the spool when you flip it into cast mode

Using your thumb to level wind the line on the spool as you retrieve it seems pretty easy and gives your left hand something to do besides holding the rod i use this rodreel to also jig and still do not miss the level wind
