When i was researching the purchase most people on message boards advised against buying the push without any previous ableton experience

I still use the mouse and monitor a little but im mostly controlling the software with push at this point

If moneys a little tight or if youre not going to make enough use of midi instruments and sampling your money might be better spent elsewhere

More advanced functions would need to read the users manual or watch official youtube videos bit by bit

The initial setup took quite a while as need to enable push on the ableton preferences and there was a background firmware update going on

Mainly the pad sensativity never seemed right no matter how much adjustment and the screen was a let down

It replaced both the pads and keyboard i was using before and i rarely have to go back to the mouse and keyboard to accomplish anything
