Quality
The lump seemed to decrease and i was pleased with the results.
I used to install led lighting and this is top notch quality, really cool design with the fan, beautiful aluminum diffuser.
I tried a few others but when compared to this one i returned all the others as this one was obviously of better quality.
Price
The higrow 36w is also 5 bucks cheaper than the abi 25w ($1/watt).
Shipping
Cuts and bruises heal twice as fast with this.
This light is exactly what was advertised, shipping was fast light looks exactly like the pictures and even brighter than i thought.
Competitiveness
Using it as a bud enhancer, paired with a viparspectra v450 and couldnt be happier.
These bulbs get considerably hotter than the 36w higrow bulbs, but it stands to reason since they are really more like 54w.
I ended up buying two similar higrow 36w bulbs with 120 degree angles to finish out the 4' x 5' space with ample deep red spectra.

It realized it wasn’t what i wanted when the internal fan went off.

However, after two weeks of use the bulb just dimmed to a very small fraction of its full strength and for that reason i'm disappointed and giving it one star.

However, the beam is way too narrow and the higrow 36w (although its actually 20w from the wall) has about double the beam angle for a much better spread.

If you are looking for a wider spread then this bulb is definitely not for you.

If abi made the bulb at 25w with a 120 degree spread, their supply would never meet the demand.
