Follow the instructions for mixing. Scrape out the loose stuff and coat with this mix. It's a two part kit though, you also need the wood compound.

The finished repair can be sanded and painted. The damaged areas were repaired and painted over a year ago. It worked like a charm, the door is now better than new.
