Pros

When the pace of this book picks up, it becomes an out-of-control locomotive that threatens to go off the rails, and you are on board, clinging on by your fingernails. This book so delivers on the promise of the first two. The last 2/3 goes by quickly...  Read More

The arch of the story is the what surprises me is that in the details that move the story one step at a time is different. Alongside a number of interesting characters are introduced. Each character is complex and the story line is fantastic.

This is too much like modern politics to be escapist fiction. Their motivations and entire back story seem fabricated over a quick lunch at mcdonald's. When it comes to religion, i think they just made it up as they went based on hearsay.

This one really jumps into a boring cadence of a religious woman that is suddenly able to take down the villain. The mao character is a * with unnecessary gore, one who i have no sympathy or care for.

Overall, the story is too transparent. It is way too unrealistic and really ruins the book. The word disappointing does the best job to sum up my opinion.
