It will protect your cards against the rfid scanners that people have to get information off of your cards while they are still in your wallet

It does nothing for when you hand it over to some waiter or waitress who has a body scanner on them that happens but it does help at other times and hopefully i go to places where the management is aware of these problems

I gave these only four stars because i had to add tape to the glued seal as it was coming apart on a few sleeves
