Pros
Easy to install and very stable even on moderately bumpy roads. But, like most single-point stands in a car, it sways quite a bit when hitting bumps or on dirt roads.
Since it mounts directly to the seat mount bolt it meets fleet requirement that users do not modify the vehicle. Perfect for ham radio operation without drilling holes into my car. Mounted in my dodge charger.
Cons
The design of the base is awful. Theres no way to tighten it to wear it needs to be. Lack of stability defeats the purpose of the vehicle laptop stand.

To produce a generic bracket that would accommodate the multitude of vehicle configurations will need some real thought behind the design resulting in a “stabilizing bracket kit” which would accommodate the variables within each individual vehicle

I did drill out the hole in the stock barrel mount to fit the bolt already in the truck seat bracket

Luckily my car’s seat hardware was designed so one of the “laptop holder” hard ware could fit the first time as to not try another brand

Even though it’s tight it still falls down when lap top is on it
