    A worthy addition to the slew of books that have been written about the trump white house, most notably michael wolff's 'fire and fury' (see my review – 'being the exploits of a very stable genius') and his follow up volume, 'siege'; bob woodward's 'fear', and michael lewis's flawed but readable 'the fifth risk' (see my review – 'the swamp still needs to be drained').

    Now, i doubt there's little information in the book that's brand spanking new, but that does not make it any less readable.

    The book is extremely well written, clearly by someone who has a sound knowledge and grasp of historical context and who is profoundly concerned for the welfare of his/her country.

    Perhaps, more worryingly, the book tells us that there are many republicans who are just as disenchanted by their leader but are too afraid to take action against him or, as keepers of the gate, fearful that if they do resign the white house will descend into even more chaos.
