Pros

Easy to install. Just needed a flat head screw driver to pop out the c clamp on the old shocks and press the new shocks on. Easy (less than 10 minutes) install using smaller flat tip screwdriver.

The hood opens on its own again as soon as you release the latch. Now it works great. The hood raises up and stays! Very strong. The attached video show just * great these hood props work.

Great product. Love em. Don't put this off. As advertised. Would highly recommend.

Make compressing the strut a lot easier to attach to the hood. Worked for my 2002 dodge ram quad cab. Installed on 2007 dodge ram 2500 5.

Cons

Probably got cycled open and closed a total of 20 times since purchased. Will not compress in order to install. Would make a better baton than a hood strut.
