Highlights
Quality
She makes you fall in love with the leaders of the french revolution and breaks your heart with them
Robespierre takes refuge with the duplay family after they save him from a riot in 1791
But the prose has an odd 19thcentury quality a little like carlyle or dickens and quite unlike the clear language of her later works
I order a lot of used books i have seen various levels of quality not always as described by seller
Price
Lucile is a beautiful woman and many men including danton find her attractive
Packaging/appearance
Easy to think the french revolution was the storming of the bastille
Desmoulins’ speech is one of the events that leads directly to the storming of the bastille
Competitiveness
