The cover, the synopsis, the reviews all played into me reading it. The summary sounded right up my alley. The end is absolutely terrific.

There's a bit of a jack the ripper, sherlock holmes and the count of monte cristo in madness. The main character is not a shrinking violet. But this story is about so much more than that.

The book is a thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat and turning pages as quickly as i could. This is a gritty, suspenseful novel. In a good way.



Cons

A madness so discreet is not an usual reading material for me, since i mostly gravitate to speculative fiction genre. The thing that irritated me so much i couldn't continue was simply the characters all talk as if they are britain.
