I’ve used most of the japanese textbooks out there and find them to be both poorly structured and way too rote memory based standard japanese education unfortunately with minimal explanation for anything but the perfect textbook situations

I will say i am not a fan of the kindle app itself because im not getting the table of contents besides the start of a chapter and having to scroll through the pages to find a certain one but that is neither here nor there

The grammar points for some things go in depth and kind of build off of each other not for everything but for grammar points that are relative to another the cover is really nice a kind of matte material most things are easy to find and the book itself is not too big plus the author has this stuff for free on his website and as a pdf do you dont even really have to buy it

After all people don’t actually say kore wa hon da unless they are implying that you must be awfully stupid not to recognize that it is a book
