I was pleasantly surprised at just how good this book is. My only complaint is that the grammer and punctuation is not always correct but it is easy to overlook since the books are so good.
The climactic moment is consistent with the story as well as believable. The characters are complex, and because of their own histories and desperation, they can't always trust each other. The emotional intensity is extremely high in this book.
