Pros & Cons

Pros

I want her to be my dog when i go to heaven. The human/ dog bond is so strong, loving, and pure. I have golden children and all i could think of was them.

Cons

Dean koontz's attempt at nonfiction in a big little life is a presumptuous and predictable love letter to his late dog. As a serious memoir, however, it suffers from the author's naivete and self-indulgence. The author is self absorbed and indulgent.

This man has absolutely no idea what it means to love a dog and be loved by a dog. His repetitiveness to the greatness of the dog, his wife, and his boring life run thin.
