There were some marks on the glass when it arrived but i cleaned it with glass cleaner and they came right off

So the frame itself is good but only for pictures or something very narrow in terms of depth

The event was the sinking of the lusitania which i believe my greatgrandfather and grandfather worked on at john brown shipyard on the river clyde
