Pros & Cons
Pros
Tape is thick enough, the adhesive is just right. It helps correct uneven sheetrock intersection at ceiling. Used for an exterior paint job of a house. One downside is the smell.
Overall exceedingly decent. Worked nicely for my project. It was perfect & we’d use it again.
Cons
Would not recommend. What a waste of time, money and resources" "i wish i could return but it’s past my return time.
When you attempt to pull a piece off, once you get an inch or two, it rips vertically into a thinner slice. It's almost impossible to get a whole piece of tape. It tears easily when pulling off and also delaminates leaving small bits of tape on the wa... Read More
This tape bleeds blue on surfaces when it is abraded. It peels off the paper. It comes off in strips so you have to constantly find the edge and try to get it peeling all the way across.
The tape is extremely sensitive to tearing when removing from roll. Constantly tearing in to little pieces and not usable for anything other than very small or short pieces at a time. Will not stay in place and will not tear easily. It breaks way too ... Read More

Note if painting on uneven surface put tape down then paint the existing base color white in my images then paint final color black in my images

I didn’t do that and got some leakage due to the surface being cement

This works for my need of applying tags to books but when used to outline on a canvas it didnt stick well

I didnt have any issues with paint seeping under the edge but i am a professional painter by trade so i know what im doing and run a tiny amount of caulking along the edge of non edge lock tapes which this is but i tried it without caulking the edge and bleed under was minimal with light coats

I imagine that if you slop too much paint onto the edge like most painters seem to love doing there will inevitably be some but that is not the downside of bad masking tape its the downside of bad painting practices

No matter what type of masking tape one uses if you apply too much paint it will bleed under the edge
