Pros
The design is different in that these bulbs have built in reflectors. Therefore they are more directional than the old style bulbs. Not dreary anymore. If your ballast goes to me it is a no brainer.

The light quality is as good and noticeably brighter than the 75w daylight fluorescents they replaced
Easy to install customer was very happy
For me they improved the light quality in my garage
Competitiveness
Just wish they werent so expensive but a great investment
It had the daylight 5000k fluorescent tubes in it which i like for the work i do in my garage
But after looking for a new ballast i discovered that these ballast bypass leds would cost close to the same and use 60w less power

Just installed so no idea about longevity but i will be getting another box to finish shop

Now the bulbs are mostly made of plastic and do have a bit of flex to them

Purchased 24 8ft led tubes and unfortunately half of one tube has quit working
