Unfortunately i didnt pay close enough attention to the total height of the bit plus the backing so while this tool did do the job for me i had to finagle it and bend some plastic i wasnt planning on finagling and bending

I needed to change the pulls on a false drawer front and was unable to access the screws with a traditional screwdriver and drill

The assembly was coming apart less that a year after lowes installed it for me and the space was so tight that i couldnt get a screwdrive of any size far enough behind the faceplate to tighten the screws that held the locking assembly in place without damaging it anyway

Its a very attractive door knob assembly but obviously poorly designed if i had to get this specialty tool to do the trick
