Pros & Cons
Pros
Dmt 8 is all the stone one would need for sharpening. Base is sturdy and holds the stone securely.
This thing is awesome. As advertised. Nothing compares to a proper bench sized unit - like this one!
Big enough for chef knives, as well as small blades like paring knives. Works for everything from my hatchet to my becker campanion. The raised bench really helps to hold the blade at a proper angle.
It is super simple to use and is incredibly flat. Very easy to flip sides. This fits the bill and has worked out perfectly.
Great sharpener. Sharpens fast. It holds the sharpener tight. Great sharpening tool.
Cons
The stone is faulty. It has nicks and bumps all over and made ugly scratch marks on my knife. Very disappointing from this manufacturer.
