Pros

The beauty is quite rustic, and should last for years if properly cared for. Don't buy the knock-off, get this one that's made in alaska. Seems very well made and like it will last a lifetime.

The uniqueness of the ulu is matched by its practicality. The knife can be sharpened when needed. The bowl cutting board is just right as described.

Proud to give it as a gift. Wish it had come with some sort of bag for storage.

The bowl is very rough and scratched. The paper holding the ulu into the bowl is tattered. The walnut ulu handle and bowl are dry, rough and unseasoned.
