One eye projects the pictures a choice of a starry sky which is the most logical and therefore the one i would imagine most people would use a butterfly a large colourful flower and a pink heart made from flowers

The item even came with batteries which is virtually unheard of nowadays and a miniature screwdriver to allow the removal of the back to insert the batteries

Other reviews are wrong to say that you cannot swtich off alarm you simply go into alarm set mode and press the up button

The light is not a problem for him as it was bought as a quirky gift and more about shapeclock and alarm

You cant really complain ok it feels a bit plasticy and even with a dc power supply the projection doesnt stay on permanently but at just over £15 this is a great alarm clock for the kids
