Highlights
Quality
They are good quality and very sharp.
Great knife keeps its edge easy to sharpen
The blade is extremely thin allowing it to "cut" through thick ridged products without splitting or cracking them like carrots.
It is thin and sharp, so glides right through vegetables with almost no resistance.
Price
For the price it's a great knife.
I must say, this inexpensive thai knife has become my absolute favorite!
You might look at the price of this knife and wonder why the reviews are so good.
Still, for veg prep this is a terrific bargain.
Packaging/appearance
Came chipped at the edge, that's no good, but fixable
Competitiveness
Btw, i am a chinese, this is better than most of chinese knives.
Bought my first one at a close out same of an asian market, a curved one.
And the nakiri is often favored over much more expensive knives in the bistro i work at.
