This charger replacement works fine with vtech monitor dm221. The fit is snug, been using this fine for weeks. Only issue is the inside (positive? It charges the monitor fairly quickly.
Cons
Our monitors are always dead now and we are constantly fiddling with them to get them to charge and stay on. You have to push really hard the first time, then if the cord gets touched or monitor moved, it stops charging. Be careful and watch your fing... Read More

When we plugged it into one of the monitors nothing happened it appeared that there was no power going through the cord

Turns out the plastic end of the adapter was too long so the metal part couldn’t reach far enough into the monitor for it to receive power

It seems though that since this product is specifically marketed to work with this brand and model of vetch monitors you shouldn’t have to do surgery on it in order to get it to work

Not a deal breaker but you have to pay attention to make sure you wiggle the cable a little to make good connection
