Make sure the surface is clean and that you pay special attention to corners because once its applied it isnt coming off unless you want to ruin it

We had to lay towels all over the floor to prevent water from going into the hallway

Im sure the owners didnt want a trip hazard but the water all over the floor created a slip hazard
