The product description is not correct it listed the correct surface charger output in the description but on the charger it is the basic pd 3 standard

I normally buy the chargers on amazon that look like the one that came with my surface but they always end up breaking in the exact same spot where the plastic tip and the cord meets

I also appreciate that it slows charging down a bit if i use the usba port i noticed the power adapter doesnt get nearly as hot as the previous ones

My original charger broke because i twisted the wires inside the doors and it broke off from the big brick from the original charger

I believe it would also charge the new mac laptops but i cant say for certain because i dont have one
