Pros
Cleared the solid (not flashing) flo errors and stopped the flow-related overheating. Fixes flo error unless error is board fail driven. Used a magnifying glass to help see.
Good replacement flow switch. Perfect replacement part. Much cheaper than anywhere else. There is a video on youtube that helped me decide to buy this flow switch and repair it myself.
The spa has two filters, a microclean filter that filters the water during heating with a small circulation pump and a larger pleated filter. I believe the spa goes into a mode that shuts off the heater. Came nicely packaged and complete.
Cons
I know it was an incorrect part because i replaced this flow switch 2. Had flo/flo2 error, replaced the flow switch. New flow errors now. Broken apparently. Doesnt fit my sundance hot tub.

Packaging/appearance
For a somewhat delicate piece it could have had better packaging but it wasnt damaged and worked fine in our hot tub
Easy to install did in about 5 minutes without emptying the tub

As others have posted i just unscrewed the old switch and screwed in the new one while paying attention to the flow direction of the switch when installed
