Pros
The sound when the timer goes off is perfect for our classroom. It's loud enough that students, teachers and aids can hear it, but it isn't annoying or obnoxious. I like the ringer better than the annoying sound of digital beeps.
This is a great little product and i love seeing it sitting on my counter near the coffee press and electric kettle. They are well worth the price.
Cons
Even when it does ding, it is too low. Lastly, it goes off and then continues to tick for a minute or so.
Useless junk. It is useful as a cute paperweight, but only marginally given its lack of heft.
Timer does not ring to let you know that the time has elapsed. Ringer is a bit too soft and short. Also, the ringer isn't very loud. The ticking is louder than the ring.

If the bell isnt going off make sure youre following the directions first twist it all the way clockwise then turn it counterclockwise to the time interval

I unthinkingly rolled it counterclockwise like you always do before setting the time and made the mistake of going past the 34034 and that killed it
