The directions and gps coordinates are always good (only once we had a problem finding a trail head).

The descriptions of the trails, directions to get there and the difficulty ratings are spot on and it doesn't require an online subscription.

Unfortunately, we left it on the windshield dashboard while we were out hiking and the entire binding melted, so now it is more like a collection of files in a folder.

The trail maps do not show topography, but there is a graph below each map showing the elevation at each point of distance along the entire hike.

The info for each hike (numbered 1-60) is also beautifully organized: witt's notes are valuable, the maps the most accurate i've seen, and the elevation profiles and gps info appreciated.
