It seems sturdy so far but obviously you have to take it down to fold the umbrella up so its not a permanent set up and manufacturer recommends storing it indoors which makes sense anyway since it has to come off in inclement weather anyway to fold upstow the umbrella

Found it and tried to charge it but unfortunately i discovered the rechargeable batteries was old and oozy so through them out
