Pros

It's reliable, easy to operate, and multi-functional. The cooker works like a charm.

Rice is always cooked evenly and to perfection. The flavor of rice is so good. Cooking rice on the stove is always a guessing game and this cooker takes that uncertainty away.

This cooker steams anything you fit in the pot perfectly. Just add water and the included stainless steel inner removable riser. The stainless steel bowl means that the lining won't wear off over time.

Cons

Pitting on aluminum cooking plate/surface after using it for only a few times. I am afraid the corrosion might damage the cooking plate and water would leak into the bottom. No apologies, no replacements, not even a way to repair it.

Still it is a good unit and they even sent a dvd to help with the directions

You can buy this in chinatowns or asian grocery stores for usually a cheaper price than on amazon
