Used as a manual flash on a sony a6000 which required a little sandpaper to the hotshoe flash but thats on sony not yongnuo

So basically what you are getting is a system that allows you to control the two flashes that come with it that is expandable that also can be adapted to fire just about any other flash that works with major dslrs and all the wacky hot shoes that come on these mirrorless cameras

That is because all the control functions are in the transmitter and dont rely on the functions in camera
