Cons
Rice was infested with bugs. Have to throw all away. Nishiki haiga is more akin to gen-mai (brown rice) than haiga. It looks like they weren't able to remove much of the bran portion.

Be aware though while this is slightly more flavorful and cross between unrefined brown rice and white rice it is a sticky rice

Its sort of like a cross between white and brown rice textually has that nice little nutty crunch a bit and its just a beautiful flavor that actually reminds me a bit of wild rice

I tried 5050 blend with jasmine rice but now use haiga by itself

You dont need to soak this rice rinse and add extra water to the rice cooker
