Pros
Easy to install, seems to be a high quality product and looks oem. Works fantastic. Well made and well priced.
Improved reception of am and fm signals. Works great in reno-sparks, nevada area. Shipped quick and better reception than old antenna.
Quality is great as it actually feels denser than the original. More stylish than theoriginal. Ul - whicch is a little odd, but can be humorous at times!
With the top down, this stubby completes the look i didn't know i wanted. Mine mx5 is a 2007. If you can handle the color not matching the base, this might be the best looking stubby out there.
Cons
Reception with this antenna is not as good as the longer oem antenna that came with the bose system 2008 miata. The sound quality of the radio is seriously degraded as compared with the original antenna. Looks great, reception is horrible.

Did not test it’s effect on receiving signal because i use carplay mostly not radio
