They’re buckle and to me the material is stronger like the original band was made of however it’s better designed so it won’t just fall apart since it’s more of a solid band than two separate parts adhered together

Two of the metal buckles were detached wen i opened the package but they are easily reinstalled on the bands by depressing the springloaded watch band posts
