The motion sensor works at between 611 feet and they stay on for about 10 seconds unless there is continuous motion

I dont know why others had problems with these but perhaps its because if it stops working like one of mine did they didnt turn it off and then turn it back on and recharge it in direct sun and then re install it like i did

One completely illuminates our back deck when we go out there at night or if we let the dogs out one completely illuminates the entire south side of our yard beyond our garage where the back fence stops and we cant see a thing out there otherwise but now thats area is well lit from the slightest motion

The fourth one is on our shed at the end of the yard and keeps that area lit at night if theres motion like one of the dogs walking in that direction

These are cheap inexpensive motion lights

I figured this would happen when i bought them based on other reviews and i didnt need the 4th one anyway but still would have been nice if it worked
