The problem we had was that the tubing did not attach securely to the fitting that goes into the cork

You do need a bike pump which we had thankfully

That would be my only complaint the fitting did not stay in the bike pump so someone had to hold it in and that could be a wet job lol

Eventually my son figured out you could hook the bike pump directly to the plunger valve and forgo the tubing and that worked much better
