I have experienced cheapmore expensive hdmi poor quality cables whether they last 6 months or 2 years losing either sound or get a snowy picture

Had no idea all we were missing in quality with our old hdmi until i purchased this

I had another hdmi cable i was using previously with a splitter and everytime i changed the channel i had to wait several seconds to over a minute for the no signal screen to go away and the programming to resume
