My old hdmi cable wasnt able to deliver high refresh rate would show the screen for a brief second then go blank

I was able to get 5060hz depending on the resolution but there was no lagging in both video and audio

The material of the cord is quite sturdy and its a good and bad thing its good because it is sturdy of course but bad because it isnt flexible

I just bought a samsung smart tv with arc and the hdmi cable i had which is much older was causing a problem with the sound dropping out

I probably didnt need to buy a high end hdmi cable as i only needed it for a 1080p native projector
