If you look at your fixture and it has a ballast see the image right in the amazon pictures for this product that must be removed

Theres not much to removing it but dont get the idea of let me just try it as is as that ballast must come out for these to work right

Just trying it with the ballast will probably damage the bulb electronics andor has other risks

I was able to do it myself in only a few minutes with only modest knowledge but ballast removal is something that definitely must be done to make fixtures with ballast work with these modern led tubes

And dont forget to properly dispose of the fluorescents these replace which is not just tossing them in the trash
