You have to zoom out to around 150mm or more to not have the image area impacted by the longer and tighter hood

Like most hoods the front end is larger than the back end requiring a larger cap but because of the drum barrel design you can have a cap that is attached to an elastic band instead of fumbling around with trying to stash the cap some place

But it did come with the pinch cap
