Bought this to hoist my yakima skybox 18. The quality of the harken hoist is in another league. I've used several overhead hoist products for bicycles, ladders and the like.

This kit is designed to meet all foreseeable installation situations. Installation seems straightforward, although you need to make sure you read before going forward. If you are good with tools it will be a breeze.

Cons

There's no way the rope and pulleys cost that much.

I am holding a 100lb kayak to the ceiling on the 7803 lift with 10ft ceiling
