    Make sure the power is off then disconnect the white and black wires from their compatriots coming out of the ballast

    Cut the red and blue wires off as near as you can to their end of the fixture

    Then i took a phillips screwdriver and took out the screw holding one end of the ballast up the other end was held up by a clip

    It may not matter what side of the bulb gets the load i never could find an answer to that online but i was sure from the videos i had watched that if the load went to the right side pin on the tube it would work
