Pros

These weights have a nice weight to them and hold my pickled veggies down in the jar really well. They are a little heavier than i had hoped. These weights are crystal clear.

In all other respects, this nifty gadget is great, and i love its weight, shape and easily cleanable material. They fit my wide mouth mason jars perfectly. Easy to take out of the jars.

Cons

These are useless in a wide mouth container, as anyone that has been fermenting can tell you. They also arent particularly heavy enough to keep the ferment submerged under the brine. Cracked jar trying to get out and ruined 1/2 gal or sauerkraut.

If put in jar even a tiny bit crooked gets stuck. The taper of the nub is just wrong. The shape of that inside bump is smaller as it goes up.
