If anyone is experiencing a short lifespan of halogen bulbs keep in mind that one should not touch the glass portion of the bulb with their bare fingers

It doesn’t state it anywhere on the packaging but the oils from your fingers will create hotspots on the bulb glass and cause it to burn out far earlier than normal
