Pros & Cons
Pros
Really fun product, def a conversation peice. Everyone that sees it is marveled by how it works. You seriously find yourself mesmerized by it's simple mechanics.
The globe is beautiful. Strikingly beautiful. The perfect desk top decoration. Very nicely constructed.
The globes now reside on their office desks and bring a lot of conservation to the table. I keep it on my office desk, where it gets daylight (indirect sunshine, only! More than house lights. I guess it is because of the type of light bulb i use.
Cons
The flaw is they just don't last no matter how well you care for them. There is an air bubble which is rather irritating. The true sphere you receive is also not quite as vibrantly colored as the online pic.
The warranty lasts a year, but the failure will take place about two years after manufacture. Worked for about 2 years. Warranty is only for 1 yr.
Highlights
Quality
Very well made and solar powered movement works nicely
Very scientific a great tool to explore gravity about earth as a whole
It has been in storage for a couple years and started right back up rotating
Had to return the first one because it stopped spinning even in direct sunlight
Price
It is a bit pricy but very cool rotating under light power
The amazon price while not cheap is the best price i’ve found
I do wish now that i had purchased the 634 globe despite being a little pricey
Although on the pricey side i’d still recommend as a gift or for yourself
Shipping
It arrived earlier than expected was it perfect condition and was greatly appreciated
It arrived a week ago and to this day it rotates when i turn on the lights
It was delivered on time and undamaged and that is huge to me
Packaging/appearance
The globe arrived in perfect condition with no bubbles or other issues
Just rediscovered mine in a packed moving box
