Normal sticky tape is risky because if it makes contact with the paper of the comic as it frequently does then you can kiss part of its cover and its value goodbye

Another problem is that even if you can avoid destroying your comics with it normal stick tape leaves residues on the sleeves that can be picked up and transferred through contact and also causes pull when you peel it open which can cause damage to the sleeve requiring it to be replaced

This tape is good but i ordered the wrong one so ended up with 8 rolls of the type i did not want but will share them withother crafters
