Pros

The material is quite thick, with a very forgiving and removable adhesive. It keeps on keeping me from slipping in the shower. It allows a grip on a smooth slick surface.

The product works as advertised. Their product is always top notch. The shower gets a lot of use and it's held up well.

Clean the floor with alcohol and let the surface dry (i used a bottle of white rum) apply tape with a hairdryer on high heat to heat up the tape and press. I feel my relative is much safer with this tape on the floor.

Cons

I read many reviews before ordering & 3m is normally a great brand. Luckily, amazon return policy covers me. After explaining the problem was given a complete refund.
