The recommended ear defender i fitted are a bit fiddly to put in place then move of my ears

Not the best from 3m peltor but overall quite good though the plastic around the part that comes on your head looks like it wont last long before it tears apart

You can always increase effectiveness by putting little rubber ear plugs in your ears under the ear protectors to give two layers of protection

Examining the ear piece it appears just thin plastic and foam i dont know how item is engineered but i have to say it is effective in shielding high frequency noise but allowing low frequency so you can hear someone talking to you
